A real team needed less manual operation and more actionable decisions.

For Edel Racing Team we connected two of our own products to their operation: Sector — our telemetry analysis and performance management platform, which we keep developing as a product and rent to their team for drivers and the academy — and Velkin Content Hub, our scheduling and publishing system, which builds the calendar and publishes to social media from files the team prepares.

The intent is the same on both fronts: the team spends less time on repetitive tasks and more time on track, coaching, content, and growth.

One screen to decide the next move.

The system's home screen prioritizes what matters on track: new training session, session capture, active drivers, pending tasks, latest times, and recent sessions. The interface is built to be used fast, before or after getting in the kart.

Dual telemetry

From RaceBox and MyChron to corner-by-corner analysis.

Each session accepts CSV from a RaceBox Mini S (GPS, speed, G-forces) or XRK/XRZ files from an AiM MyChron 5 (RPM, steering angle, accelerometer, and gyroscope) — with a custom parser that detects and discards phantom laps from the AiM firmware. Both sources are resampled to 25 Hz, cross-referenced with the track's GPS map (KML overlay of the official layout), and feed an automatic corner-by-corner analysis: lateral G, minimum speed, and steering angle per zone.

The AI ends in a concrete task, not a pretty chart.

Each analysis is generated across 16 technical sections, filtered by role: the driver sees driving technique and braking references; the mechanic sees setup, PSI, and geometry; management sees an executive summary and championship trends. The AI also proposes chassis adjustment hypotheses — pending → validated or rejected — which are passed as compressed context to the next session at that same track.

One product, several teams operating without seeing each other.

Sector wasn't built with a single client in mind: each team manages its own drivers, staff, and data in isolation. Five roles control what's visible and editable.

Admin

Full access: all teams, comparisons, and the admin panel.

By session: best lap, gap to the leader, clean average, consistency, and each driver's best sector in the session. By track: historical ranking of the fastest lap ever recorded, with date and number of sessions run. Visible only to management and coaches — each director only sees drivers on their own team.

Social media automation

Automatic publishing from Drive to Meta.

Besides Sector, Edel Racing Team uses Velkin Content Hub to reduce manual content work. The team uploads images to Google Drive; Content Hub builds the calendar, generates the caption with AI, passes it through Cloudinary as a delivery proxy, and publishes to Instagram and Facebook.
